It was a weekend of high drama for the 2nds, 3rds and 4ths, with a run fest for many of our players.

In Burley, where the 3rds were playing, four of our players scored over 50. The ice cream van was getting a bit nervous, as ball after ball was smashed over the boundary, especially after one of our team hit a SIX and broke a windscreen. (We won’t mention any names!) In return, Paul Garlick, our over 60’s England player, took SIX wickets, preventing Burley getting close to the target of 343 they were set.

In the 4ths the main event of the day was Victoria Pack hitting 127. The first 💯 hit by a Woman at Bournemouth CC. We are very proud of you Victoria 🏏 and are sure there are more of them to come. This achievement was ably supported by Aayan Kar, with 99.

In the 2nds, Karanbir Kahlon also hit a 💯 and marked it with his own style of Usain Bolt type celebration!
